SHANE'S UAX13 EXCHANGE

A fellow THG member and good friend of mine Shane Warnes has recovered three racks from a UAX13 telephone exchange and installed them in a lovely new wooden building located at the top of his garden. So far, he has got the first rack of 50 lines up and running and will be shortly complete the necessary wiring to enable the remaining 100 lines to become operational.

Shane also has a wonderful collection of old switchboards and old telephones, as well as a terrifically restored K6 red telephone box complete with a genuine 705 pay on answer coinbox. It is connected to the UAX13 via a coin and fee checking relay set, which provide the 'pips' to advise you when to insert your coins.
